Practice Made Perfect
was founded by John Morgan in Orlando, Florida in 1998 as a result
of the advertising success he experienced with his own firm of
Morgan & Morgan. Having a relentless commitment to advertising,
John has created one of the largest and most successful law firms
in the country. John is considered a visionary and a marketing giant
by his peers.
A brief overview of the history of Morgan & Morgan:
Morgan & Morgan was founded in 1988 by John Morgan. Known initially
as Morgan and Colling, the firm began with three attorneys, two
case managers, and a receptionist. Originally handling only general
negligence and workers' compensation cases, the firm began to develop
a reputation for aggressively taking on the insurance industry on
behalf of its clients. The firm's now famous motto, “For the
People”, began in those early days.
By 1992, the firm had grown to eight lawyers, ten case managers,
and a large support staff. Now known as Morgan & Morgan, the firm
has added a third specialty area, medical malpractice litigation,
and begun to develop a well known affinity for trying cases before
juries and most often returning outstanding success for their clients.
It was John Morgan's vision to build
the very best plaintiff’s trial firm, not just in Orlando,
but in the entire state of Florida. By 1995 the firm had grown to
25 attorneys and its Tampa office had opened and flourished.
By 1999, with over forty attorneys and 40 case managers, the firm
was actively involved in mass tort litigation across the country
as well as being at the forefront of developing the nursing home
litigation field in Florida.
As the new millennium begins, Morgan & Morgan now has 86 attorneys,
69 case managers, and employs a professional support staff of over
450 men and women, all dedicated to one common goal…“For
the People”. As the largest plaintiff’s personal injury
law firm in the State of Florida, it draws strength from its size,
and commands respect from its adversaries.
With two main offices in Orlando and Tampa, branch offices in Fort
Myers and Jacksonville, and several satellite offices throughout
the state its practice today truly is statewide. It has handled
cases in virtually every county in the state, and tried to verdict
over 100 cases in the last five years alone. Over that same period,
it has fought for, and collected on behalf of its clients, compensation
for their injuries totaling in excess of 500 million dollars. Morgan & Morgan is committed to fighting “For the People”,
not just today, but tomorrow as well. It is committed to its clients,
the people, not the powerful, for the long-haul.
